Keep your safe sunless tan glowing as long as possible with these tips:
- In the first 24 hours: Wear loose-fitting clothes and avoid wearing bra straps. Wait to shower until the desired development time and pat yourself dry with a towel afterwards. Avoid activities that will cause you to sweat heavily like exercise and avoid swimming, sauna and steam rooms until the full development time has passed.
- After your first shower, keep your skin really well moisturised with an oil-free product. This will keep your tan looking even and natural. If you need to shave after your first shower, please do so lightly as shaving promotes skin exfoliation.
- Over the next few days: Moisturise with an oil-free moisturiser every day. Use an exfoliant (preferably one that does not contain alpha hydroxy acids) every two or three days to slough off dead skin cells.
- Rejuvenate your tan: Dipping into the pool or sweating profusely from intense exercise can fade your new tan. To boost your bronze, add a few drops of self-tanning liquid to your oil-free moisturiser and massage it into your skin.
